OPG Environmental Award – presented to a business, organization or individual that is guided by a sense of responsibility and respect for the environment and manifests it through initiatives designed to preserve, conserve or improve the local environment. The initiative may be reflected through business practices with respect to recycling, environmentally friendly practices, innovative technology and/or partnerships with community groups to promote the environment

Enbridge Quality Of Life Award - presented to a business or a not for profit organization for outstanding contribution to the quality of life of a person, group or organization in our community

Canadian Tire Farm Business or Farm Related Business Award:  Tennysons Technical Service

Canadian Tire Farm Business/Farm Related Business of the Year Award.  Presented to a farm business or farm related business which has demonstrated growth, sales, leadership, and have an active involvement in the community.  It could have demonstrated good business citizenship, safety in the workplace, environmental awareness, introduced a new product or idea, shown expansion or exporting of goods or could simply be the turn around of a failing farm or related business.

Kinfarm Tire Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award presented an individual under the age of 35 who owns a business, has shown excellent leadership qualities, innovation in business skills, proactive employee and customer relations and community leadership.

Bruce Telecom Customer Service Excellence Award: McKechnie Pharmacy

Bruce Telecom Customer Service Excellence Award.  Presented to a business that has shown extraordinary commitment to customer service and care.

 

Municipality of Kincardine New Business of the Year Award: Books and Beans

 

The Municipality of Kincardine New Business Award.  Presented to a new business (operating for 2-5 years) that has demonstrated innovations, vision and business growth.

 

Bruce Power  Citizen of the Year Award: Norman Dunsmoor

Bruce Power Citizen of the Year Award.  Presented to the person who has demonstrated their strong citizenship with outstanding contributions to the community in the past year.

Steelback Brewery Business Person of the Year Award: Shari Farrell
