Operation of the Chamber |

A Chamber of Commerce is financed and operated by the business, industrial and professional people of our community, who are helping themselves indirectly by working for the growth and prosperity of the area. The members of the Chamber of Commerce govern their organization in accordance with a set of by-laws under which an election of directors is held annually. The people who comprise the Board of Directors have assumed that responsibility by a vote of the entire membership. They represent a cross-section of community interests. Other than the Chamber staff, the Board of Directors are not paid for their services to the Chamber of Commerce. Indeed, the Board members pay the same fees which they ask their members to pay!
